Welcome to the Arlington CERT Foundation Incorporated ("ACFI") website. By using this site or becoming a member, you agree to these terms.

Use of this website

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation or security. Content is provided for general information about ACFI and the CERT program.

Membership

ACFI offers a single annual supporting membership. Membership is a one-time payment for a defined term; there is no stored card and no automatic renewal. As your membership nears expiry we will send a reminder, and you may choose to renew with a new payment.

Training

CERT training is provided free in partnership with Arlington County and is separate from Foundation membership. Training and volunteer activities carry inherent risks, are voluntary, and may require separate agreements or waivers.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying, you also agree to Stripe's terms. ACFI does not store your card details. Membership activates only after a successful payment.

Refunds

ACFI's refund policy will be stated here (for example, whether supporting memberships are refundable, and any timeframe).

No emergency services

This website and ACFI membership do not provide emergency services. In an emergency, always call 9-1-1. CERT training prepares volunteers to help safely; it does not replace professional responders.

Intellectual property

The ACFI name, logo, and site content may not be used without permission. The CERT name and program are administered under federal and local programs.

Limitation of liability

Standard limitation-of-liability and disclaimer language to be added by counsel.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
